A question came up recently, “Is marketing automation software overrated?”

Well, the short answer is no, it’s not. Marketing automation software can be a huge benefit to just about any business.

It’s a force multiplier for you as a business owner. If you’re a solo show, one-man band kind of a thing, marketing automation can make a big difference in the way that you’re able to market, the ways you’re able to sell, follow up with people, all that sort of stuff.

What I will say is that most marketing automation software is overpriced. And I know that that can make it feel overrated because you’re starting to ask the questions when you see how much this stuff costs. You’re starting to ask, is it really worth it?

Well, the short answer is yes, marketing automation software as a whole is incredibly worth it. It is, as I said, a force multiplier. It turns you from one person into 10.
